Finally, my one-week job is over. And I leave relieved and RM350 richer. =) Sweet.
On a less sweet note, a robbery just happened outside my house at about 8.30pm. A snatch theft. My neighbour who lives 2 houses away had just reached home and was about to enter her house. As she was unlocking her gate, 2 men on a motorcyclist stopped in front of her car. One of them got down and pointed a knife at her, she freaked and threw her handbag at them in fear of getting hurt. They then sped off with her handbag. I think the Government should consider turning motorcycles into one-passenger vehicles only. It wouldn't rid of snatch thefts but it help might lesson the occurrence since it'll probably be harder without an accomplice.
Later at night, I went out with Cal & Zong to play Mah Jong at Zong's place. But we ended up playing Ginrammy. The next night (Wednesday night), I went over to Zong's place again to play Mah Jong with him and his granny. And his granny wanted to gamble, so we bet with 10 cents. Swt. Nonetheless, I was the big winner for the night and became RM0.60 richer. (Zong, you still owe me 10 cents.)
Thursday, Zong, Cal & I went to Midvalley & The Gardens. We wanted to catch Enchanted but the crowd in MV is just too good and our patience just could not stand the queue for the movies.
Friday, Cal & I were at Zong's place to play Sing Star (click to read all about it). Apparently it's not sold in Malaysia (maybe, not yet). It's a pretty awesome game. Just can't get enough of it.
That's all for updates.
p/s: I actually started this post on Tuesday but never got round to completing what I wanted to blog about on that day. Hence, a 4-day late publication but with additional updates.
pp/s: I'm becoming lazy to blog. (Again.) Blargh.

Girl Meets World
'Hi. I'm calling from yadda yadda yadda. This is regarding an invitation to attend the launch of blablabla's new network performance application monitor...yadda yadda yadda...'
I say the same line to the hundreds of people I call.
So in one word, work is B-O-R-I-N-G.
What the hell is a network performance monitor man?! I read the bloody brochures they give me and I've still no clue how it 'maximises network growth and performance' or 'troubleshoots network issues'. Sheesh.
Unfortunately for me Tiff, there aren't any cute bois, just old uncles with fat bellies. *"Drools"* So nothing kinky la, which is probably why my job bores me to death. Furthermore, I dare not serve the net cause my friend who previously worked there said the company has a net tracker which is able to track from the sites you serve to the messages you sent via MSN messenger. So yeah.
But I suppose it's easy money, so I really shouldn't be complaining. But the job really is monotonous. And not to mention, my left ear heats up from the constant pressing of the telephone speakers against my ear. And I'm also forced to put up with rude bastards and bitches and the oh-so-gay telephone hold musics. AND, the air-con vent is just beneath where my cubicle is. Freezing, I tell you.
Well, there you go. That's my job. And that's ALL I do at work, the WHOLE day long.
Now I'm contemplating taking on a telemarketing/telesurveying job. My friend invited me to join her. The job however lasts for a month! Heck, I'm barely making it through the day with my current job, do you think I'll survive a month of WORKING?!
Sigh.
God, just point me to the white light.

"First Impression"
I was just admiring myself in the mirror, having picked out my outfit for work tomorrow (Wednesday).
'I think I look quite smart' I said aloud to my mother.
'I think you look quite fat.'
Thanks mum.
Ah yes...for those who don't know, I got myself a temporary job which lasts for a week. Actually my dear Janoz gave the job to me. Thanks hun, I love you!
I think it's some telemarketing sort of job. I spoke to the boss and the aspect of the job didn't sound too demanding. Heck, I really have no clue what I'm ACTUALLY supposed to do. Well, I guess I'll find out soon enough.
Oh, did I mention it's a 9-6 job. Yes, I start at 9am! Geez...it's been barely 3 weeks since my hols began and I've got to start getting up at 6 something in the morning. Sheesh. (Thank God it's only for a week.)
I'll be back with an update on my first day at work.
Toodles y'all!

Quickie
I thought I'll update my fellow readers on my oh-so-unhappening life.
Yesterday (Monday), Denise (Tan) and I went for our ballet rehearsal only to know an hour later that it was apparently cancelled. Seok knew about it cause she happened to drop by class on Saturday which Ms Lo casually told her that 'there'll be no more rehearsals until further notice'. Of course, knowing Ms Lo, she had forgotten to pass on the information to Denise and I. Hence, she deprived us of our Monday sleep. (Rehearsal on that Monday was scheduled at 10am!)
Today (Tuesday), the P.A. accompanied me to buy some cakes from House + Co and Bakerzin for my mummy. (Her belated b'day cakes.) My mummy's b'day was on the 17th of November.
Later in the day, I went for ballet rehearsal. I called Ms Lo twice to confirm. (Just in case la...) This is when we (Denise, Seok & I) got to know that we'll be taking turns to dance cause now we've only got one show to do instead of two in a day. There were supposed to have been a total of 12 shows but now it's been cut down to 6 which I find absolutely disappointing. That is mainly cause the variety show had been cancelled and only the Nutcracker show will be performed. With a total of only 6 shows now, it means Denise, Seok & I will take turns doing 2 shows each. Furthermore, we'll be doing a solo...on POINTE! Swt.
After ballet, Jan, Dee, Sue & I went to Murni for dinner. Gosh. I went to Murni for dinner after ballet. That's just wonderful. There goes my body la. But nonetheless, it was a great night unwinding with the girlfriends. I love you babes! Xoxo!

Because I Want My Slice
My 'dear' friend, Sean Phuah, has made it to the Top 5 of 8tv's Ultimate Prom Nite.
Fact: Winner takes home a grand prize of RM10 000.
And I want a slice of that.
So vote for Sean.

5 days, 12 hours and 59 minutes
That's how long since my exams ended. Sorry for my late return. I have been rather busy. Ironic, isn't it?
On the day after our final paper, friends and I decided to have a celebratory Korean BBQ dinner. (That was my first time experiencing Korean food, and it would be enough to last me a lifetime.) Unbeknownst to the rest, I was also celebrating my last day of "chowing". (That, of course, failed to be my "last day". You'll come to know why, just read on.)
Later the next day, I went for ballet. Ah, after a 2-week break from ballet, it felt good to be back. Though, class was rather awkward with Ms Lo sharing stories about labour pain. She was sorta hitting out at us for not trying hard enough. She said that the pain we'll endure during ballet will be insignificant to child labour. (Erm...yes, I think I know that.) "My child labour lasted 18 hours." (Okay! TOO MUCH INFORMATION! Thank you very much.)
Wednesday rolled over. I hit the gym, determined to lose the __ kgs I've put on in the last 2 months. And I do plan on going to the gym consistently enough to lose the fats so I can publish my miracle post on how I shed 8kgs. Later that day, my aunts came down from Seremban to visit since it was a public holiday the next day.
Thursday. Happy Deepavali. I stayed home to indulge in my downloaded shows. What a treat. Shows I'm currently downloading:
Friday, the 9th. No spookiness to that. Another ordinary day at the gym. After gym, that's when my ordinary day turned wild. Allow me to start my story from Thursday night. Mummy and I, accompanied with our P.A., went to OU to shop. I went to Puma and spotted a shoe I like. Fortunately, they had my size. Unfortunately, it was the last pair and one side of the shoe was the display set. So I decided that I'll check the Midvalley outlet first the next day since I'll be going to the gym, while they reserve that last pair for me should the Midvalley outlet not have a brand new pair. After "gyming" that Friday, I popped over to the Puma store only to be disappointed. I headed home to fetch mummy dearest and the P.A. and we went to OU and snagged that last pair up. Ah, finally an alternative to my Converse for which I've been living off this entire year cause it was the only pair of shoes I had for rough wear. Now, I had also been eyeing another pair of shoes for sports wear since my current one is worn out. And since Studio R are one of the participating outlets for some e-coupon sms voucher thingy where you are entitled 15% off for any purchase, it's worth buying. However, this time, they didn't have my size so I requested they called up the outlet in Midvalley to see if they had my size there. But my luck could not have run out at a more impeccable time, they couldn't get through. Then my mum proposed we go there, immediately. By 5 something in the evening, we were on the road on our way to Midvalley. By 6 something, I walked out of Studio R a happy girl. We decided to stick around and check out The Gardens. Nothing spectacular. It's just classy and so unaffordable...for me. We finally decided to head home, but not before dropping by Nose. My mum got herself a pair of shoes. Then, my mum suggested we dropped by Jusco for a bit where our P.A. managed to pick up a pair of peep toe wedge.
I spent 3 hours in the gym that morning, and the lethargy was starting to sink in. But my mum walked over to the lingerie section, where we spent the next hour or so shopping for new lingerie. Then, they didn't have the size in the colour my mum wanted, SOOO we decided to go back to OU and check out the Jusco there. Mummy paid for the stuff and we left the building BUT not before going back to Nose again where my mum picked up another pair of pumps. ('My legs are killing me!' That was what the little voice in my head was screaming at me.) It was 9 something when we reached OU and decided upon paying Nose a visit first before moving on to Jusco. (From Midvalley's outlet to OU. Yes, we are quite mad.) I got myself 2 pairs of high heel peep toe pumps. Well, we finally made it to Jusco and mummy got all she wanted. Hmmm...we all did.
Some mad shopping spree it was that day. I went to 2 malls twice in the same day. From Midvalley to home to OU to Midvalley and back to OU. Geez. I've never felt that tired. Not even when I was having sleepless nights during my examination periods. Swt.
Anyway, my dad just got back from Dubai. And he brought home Swiss chocolate for me. 3 bars! There goes my 'diet'...and my attempt at being anorexic. Blargh.
Now if y'all will excuse me, I really need to catch up on my sleep.
Until more updates...
Ju, out.

- Desperate Housewives (Desperate as ever.)
- Samantha Who? (HILARIOUS!)
- Shark (Pretty good.)
- Nip/Tuck (Addictive.)
- Back To You (Farny with a capital F.)
- Private Practice (A spin-off from Grey's, I just have to watch it.)
- Pushing Daisies (It's fresh.)
- Gossip Girl (Believe it or not, I haven't got round to watching this yet. Then again, I haven't gotten round to watching Heroes either.)
- Ugly Betty (The "bettier", the better.)
- C.S.I. (I hate the fact that Jorja Fox aka Sara Sidle is leaving the show.)
- Grey's Anatomy (I still can't stand Meredith!)
